Scouting Programs and Tours

Brownie Girl Scouts can earn their Listening to the Past Try-It by scheduling a tour of Jacksonville’s oldest city cemetery, Old City Cemetery. CRPTjax staff will lead your troop on a fact- and folk-filled tour of Jacksonville’s largest repository of pre-1880’s gravestones. Some very interesting and important people are buried there.

Junior Girl Scouts can earn their Local Lore Badge by scheduling an interactive workshop and tour of a local historic cemetery. The workshop and tour will fulfill requirements 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9. Discover some very interesting stories about Jacksonville and its founders!
