To record, preserve, maintain, and protect the historic cemeteries of Jacksonville, as well as increase public appreciation and awareness of the historical and cultural value cemeteries provide communities.

Cemetery Recovery & Preservation Trust of Jacksonville

CRPTjax is a Florida nonprofit organization founded in 2007. We are dedicated to restoring beauty and pride to the historic cemeteries of Duval County and educating the public on the importance of preserving part of Jacksonville's cultural and architectural heritage - its cemeteries.

There are over 100 cemeteries that are either abandoned or neglected and are part of Jacksonville's history. These cemeteries need to be preserved and protected.

CRPTjax fulfills its Mission by coordinating activities such as cemetery cleanups, preservation, grounds maintenance, cemetery security, community awareness events, and educational programs.
